After working a graveyard following a modest day of BC skiing, my brains are fried. But thanks for the reminder.

Done. There appears to be quite a few people out to vote, as my polling place was more crowded than I ever remember.

This is a pretty ridiculous statement seeing as all of the discussion on this board has only proved that these two candidates are total shitheads.

so long as hillary clinton never runs for pres I think we'll all be o.k.

Voted absentee a couple of weeks ago to avoid the long lines. Now all I have to look forward to is the legal battles.

If Kerry loses the best scenerio would be for a 269 electoral vote tie but Kerry wins the popular vote. Then the House of Reps. chose the President. Since it is led by Republicans Bush would get the nod and a case could be made that Bush Jr. was never legitimately elected.

On my way. I always get a bit emotional when I vote. Despite the fact that voting was tainting in 2000, I still think it's pretty damn exciting.

I got to my polling location about five minutes before 7:00 and there was a decent sized line already. After I completed my ballot there were all kinds of people waiting to use the booths. Hopefully a big turnout favors Kerry, but who knows.

Here in Philadelphia, the voting machines had over 2000 votes already cast for the Democrats before the polls opened. A poll watcher was threatened by a guy with a gun to keep quiet. She called 911 on her cell and the scam was revealed. Philly is nothing more than a 3rd world African country

Dropped off the GF's ballot and just waited abotu 45 minutes in line to jot mine down.

Lots of shrub stickers in this neck of the woods, was hoping Arizona would level out a little in this election, wait and see.

kind of anticlimatic, voting here in CA. It's taken for granted that CA will go DEM/Kerry, so not a lot of suspense, or feeling like my vote really will make a differnce....

Took me about 40 minutes here in Boulder at 11 am. Poor volunteer was overwhelmed, put me in the wrong line, but it all worked out.

Stories of 90 minute waits in many places in Boulder. It will be the only county in Colorado to go Democrat if this election follows recent history.

Crazy thing is, Colorado is trying to pass a new law that splits the electoral votes. If we didn't have enough to worry about, now we may have split electoral votes.

Note: I believe the entire electoral colleget needs an overhaul, but not in piecemeal fashion like this.

you want Anti-climatic? I live in cache county utah, bush recieved 85% of the vote in 2000. They havent had a republican get below 55% since the sixties. My vote does not matter.... at all. that p-diddy guy is full of it.

UPDATE: So I head down to the voting presinct... Oh what a surprise my name isn't on the roster. Hmmm... ok. "sorry I about that" the old lady says."if you didnt receive confirmation in the mail you cant vote". luckily right before I almost start yelling about repbuplican conspircacies and how Im going to call michael moore and how the aclu is going to be involved... A new volunteer comes up and explains the concept of provisional ballots to this very old lady. So I do the previsonal ballot deal. I now have to call the state office and find out if my vote counted in two weeks. Yeah my fake utah vote for john kerrry did wonders. Its time to get rid of the electoral college.
