    Does a sailing board exist?

    Hey y'all,
Though I love this board "like a brotha," I was curious as to if there is any like-minded group, but with regard to sailing, as that's my "summertime" passion. If anybody has a line on a web address, that'd be great... I've been really disappointed with what I've found to this point simply because the usual level of conversation about sailing at home (uncle is a professional navigator, aunt is a sailmaker, mom was a sailmaker, dad took 2nd in olympic quals in solings) is typically so good. Anybody got any ideas?
    Thanks

-A happy seldon whose Moore got 7th (out of 22 Moores) in the round the cans racing on the first day of the Great Pumpkin after 20+ years of not racing

I haven't found anthing resembling this anywhere but there is a laser forum somewhere in the annals of the interweb that talks about laser sailing. Really never got interested in it myself just not enough banter going back and forth
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

Most I've been on have blown chunks and haven't had a single competent sailor on them.

Mostly armchair whores who don't even know who owns Pyewacket.

Heh (has bummed rides on all but the last pyewacket since that's who my uncle navigates for).

I used to be on the laser.org or whatever mailing list... but theres none of the funny banter etc that makes this place a community and not just an exchnage of information. Oh, and they didn't have this either:

I used to be part of a Laser forum (laser.org I believe) but they were too uptight. Good luck trying to find another forum like this place.

Hobie 16 guy here, lots of Hobie type sites the best being thebeachcats.com. I'm thinking about a Vanguard Nomad though. The Hobie stays though. It fulfills my "need for speed"
