FS: 2008 Clackacraft Salmon/Steelhead Guide Model Drift Boat

    Cross post from Gear Swap:

Like selling you're first born for drug money, I have to sell my beloved drift boat. I'm preparing to move, and don't have means or justification to keep, so the time has come to part with it... this makes me very sad.

    Here's what it is:

2008 model year 16' Clackacraft SSG (salmon steelhead guide model). I am the first owner and purchased the boat brand new 2 years ago. This boat has the tunnel hull and gulfstream bottom, allowing a loaded draft depth of about 6''. I would estimate the boat has less than 25 days on the water, and very minimal scratches. The boat also comes with a 100 year warranty against punctures and leaks, that is transferable to the new buyer for $100 (I will cover this transfer). The boat comes on the upgraded galvanized trailer to prevent rust. The boat has the matching fish box, 4 rod holders, and a floor anchor system. there are only a few, very small chips in the gel coat on the hull rails that will be properly fixed before going out to the new owner.
If I had more money to put into it and was keeping it, I would put an electric trolling motor and a depth finder, and this thing would be perfect for anything from trickling streams to bays to calm ocean days.

The boat is located in Portland, OR, but for the right maggot, i could be talked into delivering it to an adjacent/appealing state for the cost of gas.

Please PM me with any questions.

    Price: $6,000 including title/warranty transfer

here is a picture i had on hand, and I will take more and provide to any interested maggots.

Damn, I was hoping you weren't serious! I gotta make new friends now.

I can vouche for the boat being in great shape. I do think it has a curse though, yet to see blood in the boat...
Be careful about buying snowboard goggles for skiing. Snowboard goggles come in right eye and left eye (for goofy-footers) dominant models. This can make it hard to see correctly when skiing because you are facing straight down the hill, not sideways.

two reasons for that, the fishing sucking had a little bit to do with it, the other obvious one is that you were in it! If I'm not mistaken, I have yet to see you line tight (at least when not on a snag).
