It's been 1 year since the Exodus. How does everyone feel?

Well, its been just over a year since the exodus and I was wondering how everyone feels about it. I personally think it has been great aside from the part where we lost a lot of the history, that sucked. Owens and TGR have welcomed us with open arms and this is community is a better place thanks to them. Plus, I like the new format changes here a lot better than the ones they did at Pmag. Thanks Owens for all of your hardwork and putting up with the extra work we may have put you through in this past year!

If people think this is beating a dead horse I'll delete the thread, but I think this is a good opportunity to appreciate the changes we went through after leaving PMag.

What exactly is that second little cartoon character?
Some sort of Green Bay Packer, ruler wielding, Rusty Jones thing?

It's just a matter of time before the angry whelk becomes available in the box. That alone will have been worth the turmoil.

    and 10 characters!

The new (not so new anymore) home is so much nicer than the old one. Even though I still get nostalgic for the old place every once in a while.

i'd think the whelk would need some size to project his gushiness. the angry whelk will not be televised.

    Thumbs up

When my non internet friends mention my internet home, I stomp around like a muddy rooster and throw the finger stache.

Owens has done a lot of stuff here that he sure didn't have to do. We are very lucky to have such an involved Lord of the Internet.

    VIVA OWENS!

I'm reminded of it pretty frequently when the wife-to-be jokes about the "revolution". Her first time meeting of maggots was Rusty, Cletus, Iceman, and Big E at the same time. She definitely got a full on introduction to maggotdom and even witnessed the infamous/gross iceman toe!!

So every time i'm laughing or drooling on myself she rolls her eyes and asks how the revolutions going...

I joined P-mag just before I joined here, and saw everyones posts saying to come here for more traffic. I like this board 100000000x more than the P-mag. P-mag was real damn slow for me, annoyingly so. Its like I'm back on dial up whenever I go to that site. This place rocks though. I thought I found my favorite forum earlier, but this hads taken over. You guys rock.

Well, lets just look at what a shell of its former self the P-mag board has become in our absence. Its still slow as hell, its now a puke orange color, the format is almost impossible to read and the threads being posted they're just plain bad.

whereas over here we've got a really nice new smooth as butter interface, a caretaker who knows what we want and is incredibly helpful not only in getting it for us but also making sure that we're aware of whats going on in our little community here. We have the ability to upload photos and hopefully sometime in the future video clips and there are some features that I'm just learning about that really make this forum the shit

Sure I miss P-Mag but it wasn't our fault that we had to leave, jesus I hope SOMEBODY'S head rolled over at primedia for the stupid move(s) that were made over there.
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was
