I should probably go pick those up sometime...I haven't even seen those things since July. And my left boot is getting so, so lonely.

I'm thinking about driving out west for somewhere after New Year's- I have a really long winter break (a whole month) to get turns.

    That's true. Never mind then.

It was actually me who hit Pedro with that ball, but I was in PA at the time. "You want to watch me throw this football over that mountain?"

Finally got on a dsl line tonight and all i can say is holy shit Basom, I hope your leg is healing....that's some great stoke footage...great head cam footage and exellent choice of tunes....everything posted here is awesome...I may have to stop waffling and meet you guys. Back in my day, you guys were the weekend warriors, or " turkeys" ( so who can date me on that info?), but this is obviously not the case here. I hope to meet up, although anonymity(sp?) suits me for now.

WOW, all it took was a few insults and such on the board and there he is. If he doesn't claim his sticks by x-mas may I have first dibs???

APK-free tickets up here if you get time this winter...

sure dude. all you have to do is show up at the shop, say you are apk, and you get free spatulas.

in other gear related news, i was working at the shop last night and mildbill comes bounding down the stairs with his shiny new hot rods on his feet, a huge grin on his face, and a box with his new super nobi in one hand and a box with his new p18's in the other, he had that crazy look in his eye, and some foam dripping out of the corner of his mouth. i am jealous, i want new gear to show up with my name on it.

    now!

edit: as soon as i posted this i got an email with my tracking number for my new boots. they'll bee here on tuesday. w00t. whay does new gear make me so stupidly cheerfull?

Just wanted to let all of you know that it is PUKING SNOW right now in N. VT. and not just up high, the valleys are getting pounded right now too so I'm sure it must be seriously snowing on the peaks. HERE IT COMES!!!!!!!

I'm very touchy. Thinking about 3 pairs of skis sitting in Boston with my name on them and no snow under them does that to me.

It's so on. This has been the shittiest 3 months of my entire life, Sox wins notwithstanding, but it's over in a month and the winter and spring are looking nice. I'm fully charged, I can't wait- just can't get too distracted right now and blow it in the home stretch.

well get the fuck out of here then. i wouldn't want you to blame your inability to ski, and more importantly post funny stuff here, later in the season on us.

Stowe and Smuggs have both started making snow also. Smuggs has about 1/2 of their season opener run covered and they aren't even opening until the 26th. If things keep up they will be in good shape for their opening.

I also got a chance to get a peek at Stowe. Same deal. They have about 1/2 of their death ribbon covered from what I could see from across the valley. Stowe opens on the 19th or at least that is what they are shooting for.

seem ok so far. gonna have to grind the big toe area on my right (foot is .75 size bigger) boot. pretty good flex, nice clean boot. buckles are a little flimsy.

it seems like the last of the older nordicas (the flouro green grand prix's) which to me feels different than the beast generation, so for me they are great. so far. we'll see.

    i fucking hate ski boots.

edit: if you order them, don't freak out when the sizing comes through. i ordered a 29.5 for my 13.5 foot, they came through stamped "10"--it was UK sizing, so UK10=US11=29shell=i just have to grind the right big toe. i hope.

Right. I thought I'd just go all the way and become a lawyer, so I can better bring misery and suffering to this mortal plane as well as the underworld.

    Did you know...
that flights to SLC to Philly on Southwest are only $200 r/t? I may not do any work at all next semester.
