    Mammoth & Kirkwood 10/29/04 -10/31/04

Wow! What a great trip. Called in sick on Friday morning from Lee Vining and headed for Mammoth. As most of the Cali mags know by now, conditions have been amazing. Friday, Saturday, & Sunday was probably the best 3 day non-powder frenzy stretch of my life. I can't even imagine what Mammoth was like the day after the storm. Wiped out big time on Hangman's (dropped the rock in the middle, flowin nice, landed but blew it after that and went for a ride. At any rate, here are some pictures of day 2 at Mammoth (forgot my camera the first day):

Closed out in Phillippe's (I think?) This dude's girlfriend was pissed..."I hate you Billy"...

He made it out allright, sorry for the lopsided shot:

She made it out too and kept her cool.

Okay, some short vidz of Palisades. I still can't believe the condition of the snow. It was sooooo forgiving. Next time, I'll try to initiate my first left turn a little sooner - this was fun:

Okay, now on to Kirkwood. Left Mammy 'round 3 and was in SLT by 6 or so and at Cabo Wabo by 8. The ladies serving there are, well, see for yourself. Came up on some $$$ on the Poker table and crashed to wake up for some more action:

Spotted Hardrider and his boy (sorry man, forgot your name, Shawn?) right about now and made it waaaay out somwhere. Greydon led the way in his hot new bizness suit. This was the view back up:

Okay, now for some drops. We hiked - Kellie led at a killer pace. Felt good to get a workout after months on the couch. Here are some shots:

That's it for now, gotta get a story straight to explain to my coworkers how I was "sick" and still managed a goggle tan. Good skiing w/ all y'all. Lates...

Hardrider and I switched clothes before that huck. Normally I'm the one performing the Iron Cross.

Great to ski with you again, Follow. I also hate you for catching the shuttle back from Pali.

    And you're right. That's Phillipe's.
