Yeah thats a pretty sweet vid. Cool that they put so much work/testing into it.

I wake skied on some hyperlites last summer. It was okay but it was a mistake to go into it thinking there will be similarities with the snow. My buddy runs an action water sports pro shop here and we did a little experimenting with the binding set up with wake board bindings...still never got the control you get out of a ski boot.

Plus the ski design was a bit off. They were heavy and thick and had fins on both the tip and tail...so you couldnt slide at all and there was no forgiveness if the ski landed sideways or if you tried to grind the wake...zero flex in the ski, 3/4 of an inch thick. Also, it was nerve wracking having exposed toes with the wakeboard bindings. If you caught and edge with one ski it could easily take the toes on your other foot right off. Not cool. Ever notice the little tears from your opposite ski on the inside pantleg on your snowpants?

I think I would like to try it again this summer, but use straight up snow skis...hellbents maybe, and see how that works out. I dont want to give up on it yet...I think there is room for a lot of progression...more than what is out there already.

bjorn is also a pretty good snow skier also.

i waterski on super fat ho skis, like 200 wide, fun as you can get behind a boat.
tall wake & fat ski = awesomeness
