Utards; Get it while you can...

Hey gang- looks like Wednesdays storm is going to split, so it's only going to be a 5" to 10" 'er (tops)...then things get r-e-a-l-l-y quiet for a while, and we're actally going to get a pretty rare November inversion setting up for a few days...

The good news; Thursday and Friday of this look totally bluebird, could be some good photo-slutting conditions...

    Where should I go?

I get out of class by noon on Fridays, and I'm up for driving about an hour in any direction from Ogden.

Yes you should have. I woke up to Xover proclaiming sickness all day so I had to go.

They opened GW today and we scored big time with blower over the head pow. I can't believe its Oct 31! Even though my legs were spanked from the last couple days of touring it was totally worth it.

I'm almost ashamed to say it...I GOT SOME TOO. Today would have been incredible for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years...but HALLOWEEN?!?!?! Beyond words.

    Yep, I'm at WSU.

My schedule is fairly open now, but when my automotive classes get out and I have to start working, ski time will be limited to nights and weekends.

Thursday, I work friday evening. But if it's good, I'll be down the next week or two. We'll talk.

I'm getting psyched to start nailing some stuff. No more of this fluffy, yo-yo, skin track lapping crap. Tetons are only two hours away now and they are pulling me like a mermaid.

Hey RB, I think I read where the pattern that's been occuring for the last two weeks could extend for several more weeks. Any predictions for what could lay in store after the hopefully unmaterialized inversion?

Release: As far out as I trust our computer model (and it's run from a PC here on my desk, not one you get on the web; it's based on the MM5 [for any other weather geeks around here]) there's nothing in the next 8-10 days except for the storm coming through this Wednesday.

Hmmm, that sucks RB. Hopefully the model proves wrong or at least the inversion doesn't last too long. Lack of storms isn't nearly as bad as warm temps and inversion, so even if it doesn't snow, I just hope it stays chilly out there.

EDIT: deleted from context of post.

Thanks for the good word, APD.

The 26th looks to be a good time. I may be going to Moab that weekend (family is too far away to visit), but I may hit something up in the early afternoon before heading south.
