Tahoes :: Need Jibbin' Beta for this Weekend

So I think we're gonna be at Squaw Saturday morning. Not sure where, if anywhere Sunday. Either way I feel like jibbin'.

I called Squaw and the woman said "no." But I find it hard to believe in this day of rabid jib monkeys they won't try to appease them with a rail or mailbox at least.

Anyone know different? Does anywhere have anything set up? (Besides Kirkwood, it's too far. We've only got until 1pm both days.)

Any street spots to hit in north lake? Is there enough snow? I'm kind of a JibJong, so I'm not looking for a 30-stepper with 4 kinks suspended above a shark tank. I'll hit nearly anything flat and some stuff with mellow angles.

    Thanks for any info.

I heard Boreal has some boxes and rails set up but its nothing big and certanly nothing you'd call a decent terrain park.

If you are into kickers, go to Mt. Rose. Right at the top of the pass there are several BC kickers up near the road. Just follow anybody with a snowboard.

Other than that, its just too early.

    BWA!

Holy shit. If I had images like that at my disposal I'd be itching to use them, too.

Boreal says that they have 5 features out now and plan to have 10 for the weekend.

I gauren-fucking-tee there won't be any man made jibs at Squaw this weekend. Last year it took a letter from Mr. Gaffney in mid-January to get Squaw off their asses and starting putting together a decent park.

Good news: At this low of snow there will be plenty of hips, boulders, trees and other natty jibs.
