No shit. After experiencing my first leash break in well overhead surf the other day, I am giving up on "comp" leashes for life.

Been there done that. Now my leash is replaced annually and is the fattest one I can find. Nothing like a solid double overhead + wave sending you to the bottom and after the spin cycle and resulting disorientation, being thankful for finding the only way up was your leash. Originally Posted by hop
