Uhh... Yeah. Definitely make sure your excursion includes travelling to new places and experiencing new things culturally as well as academically. You are applying to a Liberal Arts college here, not an engineering school. Also, as much as I love skiing, I think snow science is boring as shit. It's really not as interesting as you would think. Honestly. You're from Louisiana and really don't know anything about the field or how interesting it might be to you. The admissions committee will know this, and will therefore consider you writing a paper about snow science, or even saying you want to study snow science, to be pretty juvenile. Maybe you'll develop an interest in the field, but wanting to ski a lot and wanting to be a snow scientist are way different things.

I'll be back home in Michigan over Thanksgiving visiting family and shit. However, your best bet for scoring fine college tail is over here at the U. St. Thomas girls have been, in my experience, uppity. Anyways, they're always stumbling around Dinkytown (my 'hood) near campus instead of St. Paul. I can point you at a couple good bars if you'd like.

Pre-Med?! You must be fucking kidding? You can't string 3 paragraphs of intelligent writing together, and you're going to be caring for somebody's long-term well being?!

    Scary shit...

My EMT teacher doesn't seem to think pre-med is that ridiculous... Do doctors have to be creative geniuses? Not that I know of... My physics lab conclusions are far more coherent because they involve scientific, analytical writing, not dreaming up crap. Anyway, this thread is pretty useless because I got my teacher to edit the dinosaur one today, and she said that with changes it would be good. I guess gramps, you didn't get to see that one because I took it out. Whatever, thanks for the help anyway. Glad I didn't use the snow science one. PHEW!
