    Northern lights- in NE!

So I went to go check out the lights that I heard would be out and I was expecting a faint glow but goddamn I was surprised. It was more like large bright red glowing streaks in the sky and some sort of whitish half circle. By far one of the coolest things ive seen, esp. b/c it seems to come in waves, so its always changing.

Go get out and look you fackers! Im kind of near boston and even I got a good show, look north and give your eyes some time to adjust.

    good stuff

I went up to Alpental last night and didn't see anything. Bummer. I guess I'll just have to get to Alaska now.

I did get snowed on though.

In my flight home last night I was fortunate enough to catch ripping auroras at 20,000 feet. Crazy.
