Argghhh. The whole thing crashed when I hit the submit button, so here it goes again.I hope you all like it.
APD, roomate Dave, and myself went up for some morning turns today. We were going to ski High Baldy traverse into the Bird, but after seeing that the avie danger was listed as potentially becoming High after the winds last night, we decided to do some smaller, more sheltered stuff instead. I forgot my shell, so I had my pack stuffed full of everyone's extra fleeces in case I got soaked and needed to change into something dry. Luckily the weather was nice and I got away just wearing my fleece the whole time. We did a shoulder and a Wildcat trees. It was very good. We also got a lot of pictures. APD got the action shots, I took the scenery and uphill stuff.
Our line from Sunday. It's directly skier's right of the big triangular cliff face - Toledo Bowl.

Me skiing (Backseat - I know. I'll blame it on the flat light and big pack today.)

Dave and I split with APD after the shoulder lap, since we had to get down for class, and he had some more time to goof around. So, no action shots of Wildcat trees, I'll just say it was deeper, and the rolling terrain in there made it a run to remember.![]()
