    JONG snowreport question

Has some helpful soul created a website that tracks the snow depths (base, new snow, etc) at all the major (and minor potentially) ski areas across the US and put it on one site? Is there any site that includes weather forecasts of snow fall on a particular ski hill that are not connected to the ski resort itself? Cause unless you have local knowledge (ie have been there enough to know/live there) you can't really tell how the local town's snowfall relates to the mtn. Say, SLC.

    Is there such a thing?

RSN.com generally is pretty good about collecting the conditions (and some cams) from the resorts. As for local spots, ummm...ask a local?
It's heartbreaking to see a chick who's too anorexic.

squaw valley succeeded from squaw valley usa about 4 yrs ago when some old school, long straight skinny ski freaks got fed up with the "new school" baggy pants wearing, gangsta acting fat ski skiing pose. it is now a resort divided.....

oh, and that site rulez. use it all the time.

THERE IS NO SQUAW VALLEY. THERE IS ONLY SQUAW VALLEY USA. HANS AND NANNERS AND I DIDN'T CUT DOWN ALL THOSE OLD-GROWTH TREES AND DRAIN ALL THOSE WETLANDS AND BUILD AN ICE-SKATING ARENA IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SQUAW VALLEY MEADOW FOR THE 1960 WINTER OLYMPICS SO THAT FOURTY-FOUR YEARS LATER YOU PUNK KIDS COULD DROP THE USA! WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, CANADA?

    SnowAlarm

This is cool, it can send you email (or ring your cell) if one of the resorts
you are interested in receives more snow than a certain threshold!
