Eminem on Bush (blatantly politically & decidedly anti-Bush - you've been warned.)

This felt good to watch after reading some other threads that pissed me off.

Doesn't matter what you think, you've got to appreciate the level to which this election has inspired the most unlikely characters to take a stand.

Disclaimer: You won't like this if you love GWB, or if you hate Eminem, so if it's going to get your panties in a wad, don't watch it.

EDIT: you may need to click the link several times to get it to work, or use Crinkle's link below. (as an interesting side note, this was sent to a friend of mine by Moby, who eminem bashes in one of his songs. Moby loved the video and wants to see it circulated far and wide.)

yeah, money can't buy away the urge to beat your spouse or publicly irritate the rest of the world with your childish and ignorant views.

Because he cares, man. He cares about you and all the other little people out there... especially the trailer trash girls that he might want to impregnate next.

Sorry, although I'm one flaming liberal Democrat, this idiot's opinion means as much to me as any other celebrity's. Nada. Hopefully he WILL convince some of the kiddies too civically challenged to vote (and think) on their own to go out and do so. The fact that it just might scares me more than our drug, crime, and job worries combined. The level of emphatic ignorance in our country is some scary shit.[/rant]

I said "the level of ... ignorance,"not that ALL are ignorant. That would be hubris.

Unfortunately when half our HS graduates cannot place our Nation's Capital on a map, or read at about a 6th grade level, or barely (if at all) understand a foreign language - nor feel the need to learn one, it supports my statement. The true problem lies in the fact that as a whole our country sees nothing wrong with this, and our leadership, regardless of party, exploits our ignorance.

Hey, does anybody know anything about the alcohol ban in Boston for the series? There was a thread about it a minute ago but now it seems to have vanished inthe the space-time continuum.

    2000 Presidential Election Results:

    Bush: 50,456,002 47.87%
    Gore: 50,999,897 48.38%
    Nader: 2,882,955 2.74%

Voting age population (Census Bureau Population Survey for Nov. 2000): 205,815,000
Percentage of voting age population casting a vote for president: 51.3%

Then again, none of those votes count anyways. I can assure you 100% of the members of the electoral college and supreme court can read at a 6th grade level.

Eminem has at least as much credibility as Republican mouthpieces like Rush "Opiate Addict" Limbaugh or Bill "Super Freak" O'Reilly -- whom millions of people listen to every day and treat as serious news sources.

What happened to actually listening to facts? America is so obsessed with celebrity and presentation that content is totally ignored. The post-debate coverage was totally obsessed with Kerry "looking more confident" than Bush...who gives a f*$k? I want an analysis of who was lying and avoiding the question and who wasn't -- but evidently I'm somewhat unique.

Americans want their President to be their Daddy, who smiles, pats them on the head, and tells them America is #1 and everything is going to be all right. And they get cranky and irritable whenever someone tells them that their Daddy is, in fact, a corrupt, dishonest fool who is selling them into economic slavery. "Don't you talk like that about my Daddy!" "What are you, some kind of TERRORIST?"
