hey there were between 25 and 35,000 people last week for the mondial du sboard..... Some locals were
after the weekend cuz the place was left like 
by that huge crawd

nope. i can't stand the idea of being that close to la grave and not being able to ski there.
looks like it will get a decent bit of snow tho....

La grave opens on december, and there's really no snow togo there now...
But be sure I'll be there at good times..

Yeah, last year, despite the huge numbers of open lifts there were some big queues up on the glacier. I was there on business so I didn't mind too much (well I didn't queue either!) but it must suck for the people who went purely to ski.

It seem the Mondial du Snowboard may not go ahead next year following all the problems. A lot of organised thefts, a riot and 60 cars vandalised. Originally Posted by verbier61
