i could also hold some signs or make some calls. i think the toilet cleaning job is still open too. maybe i should just bag it though. any suggestions?

Well, the thing about driving the van is that he won't know where he's going, so somebody else will have to come along to give him directions, so there will be one less seat available in the van. It's counter-productive.

    thats a good point, ice.

i think the toilet cleaner job fits my aptitude the best.

although calling stupid people to remind them that its the 2nd, and if they don't get off their asses they are in store for bukkake death from above sounds rewarding.

    Thumbs down

Holy christ, how did a proposal to self-moderate on starting new political threads for 1 week (and 1 week only) turn into a thread about BANNING certain topics?

But what has made the boards good over time is give-and-take, slagging, joking, and general goofiness. Because what grows out of that is community. And what the boards have been is a community of somewhat like-minded goofballs who happen to share an interest in skiing and the outdoors.

But if you folks want to create a parallel Epic, go right ahead. I don't really see the point, since Epic is already out there, but knock yourselves out.

Dude, I tried to convince people to drop the politics a while ago, and got similair results. Granted, it was during the summer when there was limited ski stoke, but the sarcasm ran just as thick, and I got bukkake all over my face.

Whether he meant to or not, I think FNG's football thread has just made this one obsolete.

Instead, let's enjoy the wonder of Triumph's visit to Spin Alley (aka Poop Valhalla), probably the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.

First they came for the political threads
and I did not speak out
    because I was not political.
Then they came for the OC
and I did not speak out
because I was not a preteen.
Then they came for the nsr funny
and I did not speak out
    because I was not funny.
    Then they came for me
and there was no one left
    to speak out for me.
