Bro Modelers - You Got Mail (maybe)

Sent out the soft vs. stiff email requesting return notification of your flex preferences. The Bros go into production in the next 48 hours. Pretty stoked.
Especially after skiing both flexes at the wood this past weekend. They ruled.

However, I did get a number of emails returned. So if you did not get the message, please contact me at pat@pmgearusa.com with your flex.

    Thanx.

We're confirmed on about 60 pair, producing until we hit 100 to get ready for the responses from our ad in the next Powder and a soon-to-be-released press release.

As for the soft(er) version. I still have yet to compare it to any other skis (sorry) but will say it's not all that soft. I tend to ski stiff skis and was so impressed with the soft this past weekend at Kirkwood. Huck4Bucks spent some time on the stiffies and hopefully he'll chime in....

    Splat,
Will the final production have sidewalls, or will the fir core be exposed like the protos?
    Oh, they'll have sidewalls, Huck.
UHMW, brown, and on an 18 degree slant.
Those protos were disposable skis, used only for testing a couple small changes before going to production. They were made to last only a day or two, given the fact the wood core hangin out like that would absorb moisture, swell and shrink, and eventually cause the ski to just fall apart. I ended up breaking one of the softs, but am not concerned because it had about 6 or 7 really wet days on it. I didn't expect them to last this long, but wanted to get them on people's feet so they could be as stoked as you were.

    Thanks for reporting in.
