This sucks (i.e. Game 2 Thread)

    So, here's my take:

The Cards need pitching to hold the game so that our hitters can hit; the combination of our pitchers pitching the way they closed out the season (poorly) with our "band of Sluggers" not getting the clutch hit better change, or we''ll be relegated to savoring our winning the NL Pennant, but not the true prize.

I'll be at the next three games - maybe I'll get some pics if we win one someday

8 errors in 2 games, our boys are doing all they can to help you.

all you need is hitting and/or pitching and you may win one of these.

How did you manage to get tickets for 3 games? Did you sell your first born?

I work for a guy who is related to one of the 12 owners of the team - he called me before the playoffs with an opportunity where I could get one seat for every playoff game for $700 - section 252 Loge Reserved behind home plate. You get refunded for any unused tickets.

At the time, a lot of my other friends balked at the proposition, but now guess who's calling me every day looking for extras. As an investment, I guess I could sell them for a lot of money, but I am planning to go and try to help the boys get back into it. It's a lot of beer to drink.

This is another lady I know named Judy Molloy. She is probably the most hardcore Cardinal fan I know. She gets the entire section all fired up with her crazy stunts. I've seen her stand the entire time someone is at the plate hitting. And I'm talking not even sitting down between pitches. Your crazy Judy! Go Section 250!http://www.baseballsbestfans.com/hardcorelady.gif
omg! standing up for an entire at bat!! that is hardcore, and a 'crazy stunt.' possibly the crazyest stunt possible!!!!!!!!!

Do they allow black people in fenway?

I'm not sure if he's trying to be funny, or if he's just a molecular bio phD and really naive.

i just sent him this email: i just wanted to know if you were still feeling confident about the cardinals winning this series in five games? because of your website i bet my savings on the redbirds to win. if they don't i'm in trouoble. so i am nervous, but if you still think they are better than the other guys, and are still going to win in five, then i will feel better about it all. please let me know your feelings.

That's funny and I haven't even looked at the links yet. Us midwestern folk are just simple people now, ya know?

Gonz, you want to pre-game it a bit?

I'll pm you if your box isn't full as always.

Wow. That was one of the funniest web sites I have ever seen. I like how he said the Cards have better pitching then the Sox. Riiiiggght. And his camparison between Puljols and Millar. He is one of the best baseball fans in the country and he hasn't heard of a guy who hit .300 on one of the best teams in the game. Hillairious. I really wonder what this guy is like in person.

    Go Sox!
Just ski down there and jump of a somethin' fer cryin' out loud!
