Fuckin' Bull Sharks man. I wakeboard with them. Boat seems to keep them away. It is always in the back of my mind though.

    RIP.

how does a shark eat a kitesurfer?

    that is fucked up.
    Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
    Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason

what's really crazy is the lifeguard that pulled him in had been attacked by a shark back in '86.

I'm leery of kitesurfing spots like Chatham Light on Cape Cod or on the Ocean Side of Cape Hatteras. Big fat seals are an easy meal for sharks and big willy can resemble a seal in black rubber bobbing around getting back to my board.
Downwinders I just try to stay afloat.

I've seen plenty of dolphins and the occasional big sunfish that look like a shark fin poking through the waves.....sends chills
