A friend and I are driving down to Alta tomorrow (Saturday) morning. The posts I’ve read, the e-mails I’ve received, the web cams, and the chance to get good turns in October are just too great to ignore. We’re leaving town at 7:00 AM and should hit the parking lot at about noon. If any maggots want to say hello we’ll be in a maroon Durango with Wyoming plates. On the hill I’ll probably be wearing a blue jacket with black shoulders and my friend will most likely be in a purple Cloudveil soft shell. I think we’ll be heading for the shoulder. We’ll both be on tele gear.
Since I’ve only met one maggot, pack in the powdermag.com days, I wouldn’t mind shaking hands with a few others.
My first Trip Report may follow, but I still don’t know how to link photos and/or where to upload them to link them. Any body care to clue me in.
