Sick. I got nothin on all that but I just skied my 186s for the first time yesterday. First day with locked heels since 1999. I got fucking owned like a little bitch for the first few runs but by the end of the day I was maching through chopped up crud as fast as I've ever skied anywhere. Can't wait to get them out again.

Sad story: I broke one of my Lhasas today. Right in front of the toe piece. Deep compression on a traverse.

Happy ending (and who doesn't like those...): Emailed PM gear and will be getting a warranty. Pat responded within 10 minutes to my request. FKNA.

    Still killer skis.

Wish we had the stability to ski that sort of terrain right now. We gots great snow, just can't get into the steeps yet.

Instead I'll keep swishin the mello roaster...

thanks! That's the beauty of coastal snow, it sticks to just about anything and we are able to ski the steeps without much worry. However, we rarely get to ski blower cold smoke, so the days when it all comes together as one are pretty special.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

If you look carefully you can see a little of the carbon topsheet showing.

I like dumbazz didnt bother to weight the 2012 Lhasa 186 before mounting , but from the website the math and the old Lhasa without duke weight it appears that the 2012 lost about a pound !! Stoked!

Old Lhasa 186 5 lbs 2 oz ski only
New Lhasa with Duke 7.6 - 3 lbs (duke)= 4.3 lbs ski only

Got some 191 Hybrids enroute ! FKNA !

    Blackcomb going off today!
