Anyone stayed there before? Only hostel information I've got is from a friend who stayed in one in Europe - said it was a barn with cots. How much privacy can I expect there?

Hostel X in Teton Village is spectacular compared to other hostels I've stayed at. No barrick style bunks, rooms come w/ 4 beds in a room, two as a bunk and two un-bunked. Each room has its own bathroom (shower, sink, toilet) as well. Downside to staying there for a week is there is no kitchenette in the rooms, but there is a common area w/ a microwave or something. I really don't remember about that since we ate out every night or were eating sandwiches and energy bars.
The rooms themselves are designed for ski bums, plenty of exposed pipe to hang clothes from.
If on a budget, this is the place to stay. And you can't beat it since you're right at the base.
We plan on staying there for the summit. I haven't stayed there before, but took the information here as it being a little better than a barn with cots.
Walking distance to the tram for that price seems almost too good to be true.
I'd also be interested in hearing some first hand accounts.

Dammit. Well, I don't mind an audience, I guess...Originally Posted by Spicoli

The Hostelx is awesome. Rooms are plenty comfortable, and the place hace a cool vibe. Right near the lifts, and next door to the MM.
