    The perfect Alta/snowbird powder ski

I just stumbled upon this forum, but perhaps you can give me a bit on insight. I am heading out to alta/snowbird for the winter, and have never skied the west. I have grown up racing at Sugarloaf, and am finally makign the journey.

However, i am skiing on a pair of atomic r11s, 190cm, and am wondering if i should pick up another pair of powder skis. I have found a guy willing to cut me a deal for the Volkl CMH 180s with bindings for $275. The question remains, should i pick them up now, or wait until i get out there? Are they even worth it?

Pick 'em up. That's a killer deal on an amazing ski. You won't regret it.

Explosivs are an Alta/Bird favorite along with Sugar Daddies & Seth Pistols.

If you like the way Volkls flex I say go for it. If you find that you don't like them after getting out there, you can sell them easily.
