    Lange Comp 120FR

    Before everyone gets all outta hand on me, I'll state that I live in an area where the ONLY boot availible is Technica.

    Found this deal on ebay;
    Lange Comp 120FR

    They say size 10.5. Does anyone have experience with these boots? Could you tell me if 10.5 is true to size? I've read a lot about this boot and from what I've read, I think it would be a good boot for me...the price is attractive.

    Edit: Did some searching on this boot in this forum (and others) and have found great discussion. However, havn't really found the answer to my burning question (do they fit true to size?)

    No, your burning question is "do they fit my foot?" and the answer is yes, they do fit my foot. I've put about 80 days on them.

    Seriously though, never buy boots you haven't tried on. It's just common sense. There are no exceptions. I'm sorry, this is just the way it has to be.

    In case you didn't know, size 10.5 is a size 10 shell with a thinner liner. - Edit - Whoops

    That being said, never buy boots you haven't tried on.

    Actually the size 10.5 is a 10 shell with a thinner/bigger liner. I wear an 11 shoe and jammed my foot into a 9 shell lange or for a roomier (slightly too roomy) fit wore a 10 shell. I'm the same in an Atomic boot with 27 or 28. Actually the Atomic in a 27 is sweet once I make room for my mutant long first toe and the 28 was just too big. Try on any lange comp low volume fit in a 10 shell and you'll have a good idea if it works. They are quite low volume and do not accomodate a high instep very well. Hell if you get a good price you can flip them. That reminds me I have some atomics in a 27 to go on. Boots don't move well on eBay though.
    It's not so much the model year, it's the high mileage or meterage to keep the youth of Canada happy
