    How to Roll

    Go here: http://www.cbc.ca/mondayreport/
Click on the video for Pierre Burton's advice. I think it's funny even if you don't know who Pierre Burton is (famed Canadian historian, author of countless best selling books, iconic figure etc). I have to admit, I was surprised that the CBC actually allowed this to air yesterday at 9pm. Well done.

Pierre Burton also made into the top 50 Canadians on CBC this weekend. But remember, this was monday night report with Rick Mercer, same guy who did the piece on "Talking to Americans" were he got educated people at Harvard to sign his petition to stop the Toronto Polar Bear Hunt.

Is Burton in that top 10 Canadian bit? If he is he just got my vote. Very funny. I have sent this to all my ex-pat friends who are missing their CBC. Thanks gin.

Burton was around the top 20 from what I remember. But Don Cherry and Gretzsky made it into the top ten.

    Here the Top Ten Canadians

Tommy Doulgas (father of health care)
    Terry Fox
    Don Cherry
    Alexander Gramham Bell
    Wayne Gretzky
    Sir John A. McDonald
    Lester B. Pearson
    David Suzuki
    Pierre Trudeau
    Fredrick Banting

Don Cherry sticks out like a sore thumb. How the hell did he make the list?

Because any and every one was able to vote. The "best" part is that Brett "the Hitman" Hart (himself in the top 50) will be the one arguing in his favour. Good lord.

But back to Pierre Burton: I love the fact that he rolls the joints on his own books.

SaAaH (and him walking by with the big bowl of munchies at the end was pretty funny too),
