    Snow in Utah this weekend?

    Weather forecasts are showing mixed snow in Utah this weekend.

    What say the locals?

    I am doing my dance in hopes for an ok base by 12/10 for my Alta visit.

    Yes and this applies to anybody talking about snow in the Wasatch. You see our storms are very sensitive to the "Xover effect" and any mention of snow will either cause no snow or greatly reduced totals. so in short "SHUT THE FUCK UP"

    Im doing my part too sitting here in an aircast on my ankle that is nicely sprained, but luckily that is it besides a really nice bone bruise.

    Doc says I should be riding by the time there is enough snow on the ground.

    Ladies and Gentlemen, based on the current situation, with Lumpy and the gang leaving Utah, Buzz still in a cast, and all that, you'll be happy to know that:

    The overall weather pattern is changing now, and there's not one thing any of us can say or do about it.

    I am going on record tonight, that there's no reason our resorts should not be able to open by Mid November, if they want to.

    (and yes, I'm posting this here for no other reason than to see Woodsy's response... Besides, it's a really quiet night here at work...)

    ((besides, its not going to snow until Saturday anyway)

    Since Im not nearly as close to the Wasatch, I have little chance of jinxing things down there, plus Im on the injury list right now.

    Woke up to 5 inches on my front deck this morning, yard totally white, thinking of starting the Kubota and start the process of the kicker.

    Been at work of 49 minutes and have about another 1.5 inches on the Jeep.
