IF THE WEATHER GOES ACCORDING TO FORECAST, KIRKWOOD MIGHT BE OPENING A LIFT THIS WEEKEND FOR EVERYONE'S ENJOYMENT. IF ANY OF THEM MAKE IT BACK DOWN, THOSE COCKBITING FUCKERS WILL BE ARRESTED FOR TRESPASSING BY OUR LOCAL ALPINE COUNTY SHERRIFF, WHO WILL BE SETTING UP HIS SUBSTATION FOR THE WINTER IN OUR RED CLIFFS PARKING LOT. THIS LEVEL OF PROTECTION IS WHAT WE AT KIRKWOOD OFFER TO OUR HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION. NOTHING BUT THE BEST, STARTING AT $55,000.

    Worth repeating twice. Funny stuff.

Car shuttling the mtb the last couple of weeks has made me lazy. Besides, i did enough hiking in Lenas. Even set a long ass bootpack up a nice slope. Baby steps. Soon I'll be hiking 14ers just like the rest of you hippies...[insert laughing from those reading this]...

Seriously though, if chair 23 opens...orrrrrghhhhhhhh...then you won't blame me.

Plus I have to be in LA on Saturday. Funeral for an friend in the am and brother's birthday that night. Talk about contrasts.

Edit: Almost forgot. Just cleared about 8 inches out of the driveway. Still snowing...

it is PUKING right now at the Truckee airport. Friends of mine at the Tahoe Ski Bowl condos can't even get out of their house because of the FOUR FEET of snow in their driveway. Sick.

This thread is in desperate need of photos and web cam links - especially for us east coast folk who don't get these kinds of storms very often.

    More eye candy....well....it's the Heave.
However, we're usually lucky to see this kind of coverage on Gunbarrel by mid December:

Further findings to be revealed after a dawn mission tomorrow....
