Tough decision...my choice is Targhee or the big pile of smelly dishes. Not much going on snowwise in Fox Creek, I can see house lights across the whole valley so no snow at 6000 ft. Heavy stratus deck about 2000 ft over the ground, so Targhee could be seeing some light snow up in the clouds(which is what the radar confirms).

I rode Targhee two winters ago in 8" of fresh, it was unbelievable. We rode JH the day before and it was rock solid, just f*cking nasty.

Targhee is reporting 3 feet of snow in the past week.

With that in mind, I'd head for Targhee and take my chances. You know JH will be decent tomorrow if there's a good dump in forecast tonight.

flip a coin. Some will always say jhmr, some will always say 'ghee. It's like Sierra Nevada and Mirror Pond. Either way you're drinking some pretty good beer.

    misread it... my bad.

Yeah, after holiday that's all tracked out.

shit my pants indeed - we don't get snow like that in MI, and even though I get out west 1 or 2 times a year, we've had lousy weather more often than not... I'll take 8" of snow over hardpack, any day
