    Attn: Mr. Cohee

You, my friend - are facking insane.

"Well designed half-plex with a sunny, open great room. Vaulted ceilings, a large deck, radiant heat, Jacuzzi tub and an airlock entry are just a few of the special features. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home has a private setting and convenient location within easy walking distance to the lifts."

A "half-plex" for the rippin' price of $750,000.

I used to be amused by Mr. Cohee. I'm beginning to understand the local sentiment now.

You'd think for 750K they'd at least cut the grass.

    [QUOTE=tcohee]...wonk, wonk...GOD!!...wonk, wonk..[QUOTE]

Pardon me God, but I have a couple of questions:

"Great room"? What's so great about it, other than the fact that's it's sunny AND open?

"Radiant heat"? You mean electric? Please stop trying to glamorize electric heat. It's expensive and inefficient.

What in the hell is a "half-plex"? Half a duplex? You're giving me half a COMplex trying to figure out your jargon.

"Airlock entry"? If you open the door too quick, are you sucked into a vacuum thereby disturbing the space/time continuum?

"Easy walking distance"? Well, doesn't that depend on the walk-ee? Please define this distance.

You also forgot to mention how much LAND I'm purchasing with my 3/4 OF A MILLION DOLLARS. Lot size please?

    Thanks in advance.

    Definition of walking distance:

Since the shuttle service to the lifts is inconsistant you will often decide to walk a set distance instead of waiting an undetermined amount of time for a shuttle.
    Alternatives include:
    1. Hitching a ride up the road.
    2. Herringbone/skate from Timber Creek to Chair 6 when Chair 7 is suffering from gaper-lock.
    3. Pay $20 for V.I.P. parking!
    4. Put on skins and head across the meadow.
    5. Sit in the snow.
    6. By a second "half-plex" to use as a midstation/rest stop at the halfway point of your walk.
    7. __________________________. (Fill in your own creative solution)

Yeah, I really don't want to worry about getting the bends when I enter my house!

Dumb question, but is $750K really a lot for this place? I doesn't seem THAT crazy, but the inside would have to be pretty deluxe.

hahahaha @ the bends. "complete with jacques cousteau to aid when you come up too quick"

    $750K isn't bad considering it's california.

Guess it depends on the preferences of the buyer - however - Wouldn't you rather have a single-family 4BR, 3BA on a half acre in Truckee?

For a *listed* price of $424k:
