I raised a mean viscious beast (puppy pics inside)

Well some of you may remember I got a puppy in June. Here he is now. It's amazing how fast they grow he was 16 lbs (see Sam4) when I got him now he's 65 and still growing. He looks pretty mean doesn't he. Sam is an absolute blast and easy to train. When I opened the file of the pics when I first got him I was amazed at how tiny he was. I guess I didn't really remember how small he was. Anyway, enjoy.

edit: Forgot to mention how much fun it was spending $96 the other night at the pet er when he swallowed a sewing needle. Interesting to see what you didn't know he had eaten.

Went through that with my cat a couple years ago!

Great looking dog. That puppy picture is, I've gotta say it, undeniably cute.

Not to take away from your prowess as a lady's man, but... how many times has that dog helped you get laid?

Yeah. We took him in right away and they gave him some medicine and he threw it all up. Apparently he had eaten part of a towel that day also.

    Excellent hound-dog. Congrats!

EDIT: Never quite saw the need to teach my dog to be aggressive, Bandogge. Then again I have kids - I wouldn't sleep well at night knowing my dog could decide to snap their neck in a heartbeat.

    Neither would I...

I would ask that you educate yourself on working dogs before you assume Zero, or any other properly trained and handled personal protection dog would pose a threat to his/her fammily.

    Such is complete falacy.

    Great looking dog!

We also just added a dog into the mix last April. He's a border collie named "Frank". I can't believe I am turning into a dog person....next thing you know I will be posting pictures as well.

I take it since your pup ate a needle he is still swallowing everything in sight! I thought Frank was past all that, until he chewed up a plastic bag the other day. After lots of dog puke and a visit from an ultra sound tech, he ended up OK. Ah, the joys of pet ownership!

That may well be. Unfortunately there are so many attack-trained dogs (especially AST's, Chows, and Shar-Pei's) in my city that have harmed innocents that "Pit Bulls" are now banned.

Honestly, if I was concerned with mine, or my family's, personal safety I'd rather have a gun. Those can't decide to attack on their own.

    I wish you luck.

    .
There have definitely been chicks who introduced themselves to me because I had a cute puppy I usually mention something about my wife then so they know this prize of a man is already taken. On the whole he takes up time that could be used for other activities.
