I took a Winnebago Warrior up there five years ago and parked for free.

do not under any circumstances rent one of these.

The cheapest place at Whistler is The Shoestring Lodge. It's more of a hostel than a dive and it's still there while the new owners work on their condo development. Since you're from Washington I'll tell you about a secret lift card that has deals on lodgings too ($89 a night) but no dogs (the 4 legged kind). Lift tickets are up to $74 this year if you want to pay full list.

You can't park an RV in the parking lot anymore -- you have to stay at the Riverside RV Resort (it's not just a campground anymore) for $40 a night. There's another RV place just outside of Whistler but it's new and I don't know the name.

Any place to park a truck and sleep in the back up there?

    Pollard,

You gonna be at Steven's again this year? Thinking of getting a season pass and was hoping for somebody to give me a tour up there.

I'm staying at the shoestring, i think it works out to about 25-27 a night per person. the condo is good if you can find enough people.

    Dirtbags aren't allowed in Whistler.

I've seen RVs parked in lot 7 on Blackcomb (on the edge of the lot). The day lots (2-4) always have cars in them. Some people still crash at the back of lot 4. There's lots of logging roads before Whistler. There's some parking at Brandywine Falls Provincial Park before Whistler. If you want deluxe you can pay for underground parking at a hotel. There's no street parking because of plows. As long as you're discrete and have beer handy for the parking police it shouldn't be a problem.

There's also the Whistler Lodge (aka the University of BC Ski Club Cabin) if you want to hang with university students and talk about Nietzsche (and drink lots and lots of beer).
