So what is going to keep Brimmer’s decision from being set aside by another Federal Judge? This is not the final ruling on this issue and it is definitely not a step in the right direction.

Sleds are ok, but try and kayak certain rivers in the park and you will be cuffed and stuffed. I guess kayaking is way more detrimental to the environment then sledding.

So does this mean just letting four-stroke sleds in or all sleds?

It's right up there with no paragliding in parks or wilderness. A foot launched, silent form of flight is sooooooooo harmful to the environment. Three steps and your airborn.

Call me crazy, but I think foot traffic is restricted and vehicle traffic isn't because the Rangers are worried about wildlife harassment as opposed to human impact on flora?

    I don't know, just asking.

This is awesome! I thought my chances to stampede buffalo through the snowfields were long gone. [no winkie]

secretly, in a place deep down that greydon doesn't like to talk about, he wants to do this too

Snowmobiles are restricted to the roads that cars use in the summer, and the speed limit for them is 45mph. So your chances of stampeding buffalo are back to long gone, again.

See, that's what happens when you read the article. All hope disappears.
