So you're looking for fresh beats? www.freshlymixed.com

OK, Skier666 gets props for telling me about this site

it's subscription based but at $7 for 3 months you can download a shitload of music

most of it based on english radio shows where DJ's would come in and mix up a couple hours of music. there is also a lot of stuff recorded at ibiza.

THERE IS SOME REAL QUALITY IN HERE....

so if you're looking for Rev's style of music - thievery/reggae/hiphop, as well as classic house/prog/dnb (i.e. Oakenfold/Sasha/Digweed and others).....i HIGHLY SUGGEST you check it out

some of my favorites so far, from the Essential Mix group:

    Massive Attack '94
    Leftfield '94
    Portishead '95
    Jose Padilla '95 and '97
    Gilles Peterson '95 and '97
    Psychonauts '96
    Stanton Warriors '01
    UNKLE Sounds '02
    Danny Howell '03
    Scratch Perverts '04
    Stanton Warriors '04

--each one is like 3 hours of music.....

you'll want high speed download capability

if you go for it and find something good, post the date

    hit it, my selector!

Yeah....great site. Its worth the minimal cost because they really strive to get the best quality rip of the mixes. Great for mixes to drive to and/or for the gym.

Tap, if the Adam Freeland style, check out his new compiliation on cd...its a Euro release but was on sale recently at Tower for $18.99...still pricey but worth it.

Adam Freeland @ Fabric #16 Its been in my car stereo for a week now...

Yeah, I have cds full of essential mix mp3's. A couple years ago this site was free and I whored all their shit, including the said mentioned David Holmes mixes. I'm a big fan of his latest releases too with The Free Association

bump cause y'all's crazy not to be hitting this site up

also including the Solid Steel downloads.....fantastic stuff....Now in it's 13th year, Solid Steel continues to broadcast arguably the most diverse
selection of music to be heard on one radio show. Where else can you enjoy
anything from jazz, brakes and beats, funky rock, hip hop, techno, drum and bass, soundtracks, world music, poetry, electronic oddities and even a children's story. The emphasis is on mixing seamlessly between styles with love and feeling rather
    than being wilfully obscure.

$7 for all you can download in 3 months...Essential Mixes, Solid Steel, Hang the DJ.

has been well worth it in a time when most new music has been tired sounding.

as soon as I get my new HD in, I'll be all over this. 666, I skied the other day almost completely to sillicon snowfall set on repeat. Strange how songs can coincide with what you need to hear. That "focus" song came on just as my legs were going away.
