    the UT move is on!

leaving Maine tomorrow, hopefully at a somewhat early time.

but i am so tired right now - pretty much spent all day packing the HUGE uhaul trailer, and it is nearly full.

I'm planning to head over to Niagra Falls first because I've never been - don't think I'll drive all that way tomorrow though - maybe just to Syracuse area, because I'll likely get out of here later than I plan to.

I don't think i can realistically do too much more than 8-9 hours a day by myself, but we'll see, between stopping for gas (i'll use a lot of it!) and in pee breaks for me & the dog, you've got some serious time wasted.

I am hoping to get UT by thursday night or friday morning, though, so I likely have to push it somewhere - probably between OH & Denver

Park City/UT mags/magettes - I also came to the great relevation that I may need some help unloading the trailer - my landlord seems really cool, and i guess he'd offer to help me if he has time, but I don't want to count on that , and did I mention, there's a LOT OF SHIT??

the only things I can't do by myself are the sectional sleeper sofa (which actually only needs one reasonably able person besides me), a bureau & a chest.

PM me with a phone # if you can possibly help out - either friday afternoon, or saturday morning before Frizzo's party - which I'm planning to go to, so I can offer a ride at least in return. (and maybe whatever EC beer I pick up tomorrow

if you were moving to bozeman, a couple cases of long trail would get your ENTIRE trailer unloaded!

have fun! when i moved from New England to UT 12 years ago i didnt know a soul and it was before you could use this interweb to meet like minded freaks from around the globe.

You know that the fastest route doesn't go though Colorado, right?

hey flyk, yea, a lot of people seem to like 80 better than 70 (i'm assuming you're referring to that one) one bonus I can see with 70 is a quick stopover in Moab to see the client thursday maybe, then shoot up to PC friday morning - i'll make a decision on final route Sunday night, because I"m staying with a friend in Columbus Ohio that night-

the split from that point is the question - go through missouri to 29N to 80W? or 74 through IOWA?

i don't really care, I"m winging the whole thing.

I don't call women bro so hopefully I've hot that going for me.

Thus, Fri as in next week. Step on it! Other than the Corn Palace in Mitchell (if you're going that way), there is not much to see. If D-town is on your schedule, let me know. I'm not an axe murderer, with references.

Congrats in starting the next chapter!

Get in touch with me when the snow flies. I'm your man for the Uinta sled tours.

having done the drive from Ithaca NY to Denver many, many times, what you want to do is take

90W to Cleveland to pick up 80/90W. Stay on 80/90 past Chi-town, then 80W till Nebraska. If you want to swing into CO, take 76W down to Denver, then 70W through the state. A little way into UT, take Route 6 to cut the corner NW and hit 15 N to SLC. It is faster, however, to stay on 80W and cut right through WY to Park City.

That being said, you should drive first day to Cleveland, and impose on Cornhole. Next day to Chicago, and impose on Truth or any number of others in town. Then comes the long shitty part. Chicago to the West. Chicago - Denver is 16-18 hours, just for reference. You'll have to stop somewhere. Usually, I stop between Des Moines and NE. No known agents in that area, unless Xboat is still out there in Iowa? Maybe. Then its an easy drive to Denvoid (lots of us there), or a long push through southern WY to Park City.

    Have fun!

The whole move to utah thing is last year. This year it's all about moving out of Utah to really small towns in Idaho.

Good luck on the move skiguide!

If ya wanna swing Moab cool otherwise 80 is so much faster most of us take it to & from Denver to SLC. dont speed in Nebraska

Foggy has my vouch as a non axe murderer pervert. Buy him a brown liquor drink & ask him an economic question, enjoy the ride.

In my convoluted stupor, I meant that your post was witty, and theirs was so off, that it was classic. Thus classic on both accounts (or sides of the table)

I think thats what I meant

So thats what happens in the back of Foggy's camper. The goose feathers and molasses jug outside the camper door had me wondering during his last swing through Utah.

    Skiguide, number sent.

You'll find most of us in the Utah collective are rather adept at single purpose tasking such as moving furniture from point A to B (if given proper instructions). Just envision a bunch of apes flinging poo at the zoo and you have MOST of us pegged.

You know what really has me laughing about this whole thread? The Utards desperate pleas for real beer.
