What should I rent? (to stay entertained post-op?)

Surgery is next Tuesday. So considering I'll be banished to the sofa for the better part of next week, I'm looking for recommendations of movies to rent to stay entertained.

We've got a good collection of ski and bike movies but not much else.

Give me some ideas - old, new, whatever...

I'd opt for maybe a season or two of a good tv show - a full season will keep you occupied for at least 3 or 4 days. Sopranos? Curb your enthusiasm? I'm not huge on Six Feet Under, but it gets the thumbs up from lots of folks.

I swear every time I've been awake at some ungodly hour flipping through channels this movie is on cable. Definitely cheesy, but for some reason I've seen it like 3 times now...

And I've been thinking I need to rent Eternal Sunshine... so that's definitely at the top of the list.

"all I know is, you're the best damn surfer out there." god I love that movie...

Eternal Sunshine is a great movie. Definitely somewhat weird, but Jim Carrey is great...especially when he is in his childhood memories. I fully reccommend this movie.

We've rented them as they came out on video, but now that I think about it the early episodes were so good that's not a bad idea...

Sex and the City is always good to rent too.

not even sure if it's been released, but if possible you should get the full twin peaks series. it'll suck you in (and be interesting while hopped-up on the sauce)

Thanks for all the suggestions guys!

Unfortunately I've been back at work for over a week now...

Still have a nice supply of Lortab though. Mostly to get me through weekends of hearing how great the skiing was.
