WTF? Fernie pass more than Lake Louise

I was just checking out season pass prices on the RCR website and Fernie is now a $140 more than LL. That pisses me off, LL is there flag ship or main resort and they charge $140 more for fernie.

    Fernie $1039
    midweek $899

    LL $899
    midweek$719

It also pisses me off that Fernie's season pass hit the $1000 mark. I think I might look at BC gear this winter.

    Enough of my pissy rant.

Castle Mountain: $630 full pass. $250 midweek and the midweek has no blackout dates for holidays.

Its not that far away you know.

Was just looking at there site. Just might have to go to Castle this winter. Only been there once, but I had a blast. I wish all ski hills were like castle.

I think the higher pass prices go hand in hand with the condo's.
    I miss Snow Valley.

No kidding, I remember skiing Snow Valley when you were looking at a big hike out to the front side if you dropped into the ceader bowl. There was no end of fresh powder there back then. Such a great hill. I think there were only a couple T's and the one double?

I still love the place, but it's lost a lot of that character.
