Every ski review here and over telemarktips starts as follows:
[height], [weight] and aggressive skier
6' 190lb, EXTREME SKIER here.
You can be agressive and still be a hack...
When in Rome ...
I also think the truly elite skiers typically have zero ability to review skis. My hypothesis is that their brain detaches from their body when they ski (which is part of what makes them elite). Ask them how they liked specific skis, and the answer is sort of: "uh, they were skis." All the detailed crap about skis is likely far more relevant to those of us in the big fat belly of the bell curve; we are interested all the help we can get from skis, even if we are "aggressive."
I'm a passive-aggressive skier.
I just bottle it all up and then rip that shit up for 5 or 6 turns.
I'm a super aggressive, type 10, PSIA level 1,000,000 skier.
You forgot to add ex-racer, ex-coach to your aggressive skier. Another worthless tidbit added to reviews.
And Fast! It is always Fast and Aggressive. One mans fast is another mans not so fast.
I prefer: "5'10, 240lb charger."
Yeah, but I really am an aggressive skier. People need to know...
Thanks Shane
Oh yes, and don't forget these all time classics:
"I am a ski instructor"
"I'm PSIA certified"
Not that there's anything wrong with that![]()
If speed control waves at you then you must be an aggressive skier.
This thread is a soon to be classic!
Edit: And, for once, we can say "PM Rontele about the definition of aggressive skier" in threads and have it be legit!![]()

"east coast racer"
"I ski at Squaw."
This is surprising how?
Telemark = license to suck.
Telemarktips = license to suck, loudly.
