    Cameron Pass this weekend

I (and a male acquaintance*) am heading up to Cameron for our first turns of the season on Saturday. Anyone know conditions/want to come? I have no idea how much snow is up there, hopefully we'll get to ski. If coverage is shit, I won't be skiing, I'll just hike or something. I don't want to break myself/my gear before the good snow falls.

    oui?

    *edit for wookalar.

They should be getting snow with the upslope-y weather we have right now. Have fun and report on conditions!

I was looking that direction this morning (from Laramie) and the peaks look like they got some more earlier this morning. The Snowies got a dusting, but I can't tell how much. I am going up (into the Snowies) to do some recon on snowshoes this weekend with a friend. We are thinking about building a Holiday Inn Express up there somewhere for future missions this winter.

Let me know what you find. I'm only about an hour and a half to the north of Cameron Pass (drive time - I usually go down through Walden).

    Cheers!
