    North Face Hyvent

Make sure it's fully seam-sealed. I had a pair of TNF hy-vent pants that were missing some critical seams and so became uncomfortably sopping wet when teh chairlifts were wet. Remember to re-DWR them as well.

edit: what the FUCK? why is my response above his original post...

    North Face Hyvent

Anyone have any experience with this stuff? Is it waterproof at all? Durable? I see a lot of Norrth Face jackets on sale made with Hyvent and was wondering if the prices were too good to be true. Thanks for any info.

Ive had a hyvent TNF jacket for 2 seasons now and continue to be extremely happy with it. I've never had leaks, and the breathability seems to be as good as any gore-tex Ive ever worn. Noone knows wetness (he...he...) like an oregon boy, and I'd recommend it to all.
You look like I need a drink.
