Does anybody know what the difference between the 2010 woman's salomon instinct cs boot and the idol 9 cs boot? besides the color, weight and buckles. Thanks

same shape for both.
impact runs 24-30 and instinct/idol 23-27

The Idol 9 has a wider last than the Instinct.The Idol has an adjustable spoiler and high pile fleece at the top of the liner.

ya, impact / idol = same 100mm
instinct = falcon = most X3's = ghost(ish) shape at 98mm

Instinct is lower volume and 98mm in forefoot.
Idol is 100mm in forefoot with a little bit more of a roomier instep and ankle.
