Bend, OR - dumping in town, dust in the mountains

I just went out and measured in an accurate location. We have 10" of snow in Bend. All lastnight/today, still coming down pretty good. It's 15 degrees out. There is colder, drier, fluffier snow here in town right now than i've probably ever skied in here in the PNW. Our snow usually falls closer to 22-30 degrees and is heavier. My neighbor is using a leafblower to clear his driveway and its working better than a shovel.

Up on mt bachelor, dust on crust. They've got maybe an inch. Craaaaaaap. I might go ski in the city park.

    Where are you?

I coined the phrase "Be Here Now". Not really, but i think i might have. My girlfriend was reading some 'spiritual' book. Eckharte Tolle maybe? Anyway she was explaining to me one of the primary concepts of being emotionally present, and i said "be here now." After that she wrote it on the bathroom mirror. I'm joking of course, but it's a true story.

Ok, sorry for wasting 15 seconds of your life with that.

Yesterday Meadows was getting slammed and when we rounded the mountain Timboline was in the clear, pretty weird weather.
