Anyone been? Best time to go? Easiest way to get there? Looking to go this March/April, looking for some insight

March will be crowded. Fly to either Geneva or Lyon or Grenoble. Easiest from there is with a car, and they have shuttles as well. I think you can train it Moutiers, but I haven't. Consider La Plange/Les Arcs.

Toast, thanks. Trying to gather a crew to head over there, but just trying to find things out before the airfare blows up. Thanks

Best airport for greatest choice of transport is Lyon for sure. Buses by far the easiest method. Just google or look on the airport websites for links to suppliers.

I love March in France. Biggest base of the season on average and stable back country conditions, long days, snow great. Best to go from about the 6/7th onwards as all the french holidays have ended. The last week of Feb / first week of March is the Paris half term and to be avoided.

Personally I prefer Espace Killy to 3 Valleys but that's just a personal thing. Paradiski also excellent... But 3 Valleys is so huge there is always something for everyone.

    Have fun..
