Thumbs down It's been a bad week!

This past week we lost Rodney Dangerfield, Superman, Ken Cameniti (spelling? - sorry) and...

My next door neighbor was killed in a motorcycle accident.

I last talked to him Friday as he pulled away for a week-end road trip back to his home town of Riverton, Wyo. Sunday morning one of my other neighbors came and told me Jack was dead. I guess he ran off the road and crashed in the middle of the night outside of Riverton. They think he didn't die immediately, but no one was around to help; no one saw him crash. When he was found in the morning, he was dead.

He was a super cool guy, about to finally graduate college; he was 46 years old.

    RIP, my man.

Yeah, WTF is right! I feel wierd about the whole thing, like it hasn't sunk in yet. Like, Jack won't be coming home. He wont be knocking on the door to watch football games. He won't be asking everyone in the building if they want to smoke up . It's wierd, man. I only knew him for about 2 months, but he was the kind of guy that made you feel like you knew him your whole life. Other than not being a skier, he was just like a ski buddy.

    bummer.

None of us know any details of the accident, but we all assume he died drunk and stoned - the only way he'd want to go. In a wierd way, we all (in the building) kinda tip our hats and raise our glasses to the way he went out. He loved that motorcycle, and he loved those women up on the reservation. I can only assume he had the time of his life before he checked out.

We all just wanna say cheers to him. Is it wrong to feel that way?
