You can either post to an image hosting site and embed the url surrounded by the IMG tags or...

If you want to upload to the site (like you did there), once uploaded, click on the picture link you uploaded. This should open your picture in a new browser window. Copy that URL and put it between IMG tags and you are golden. That will give you full size pictures followed by thumbnails like you have.

I am doing a workaround her and clicking on your thumbnail to open the picture, right-clicking the picture to open in a new window and pasting the URL inline to get it to work.

You can click "quote" on my post to see what I did to post the image, but it is up to you to get the correct URL everytime. Again. this is easily done by clicking on the link in the "manage attachments" window

You have to put the link in IMG tags... Quote my post I posted your horse pic in and you can see the IMG open and close tags that you need to wrap your image in.

An easy way, at least with Safari, is to right click on an image and select "Copy Image Address" then just paste that between [img] tags, or in the box that shows up when you click the little picture icon.

You need to put and end into it. The end should be [/img] The slash is what "closes" the tag.

You're clicking on the link and it's blowing it up inline. You need to get the actual picture url... That picture URL is

    http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/a...5&d=1259900987.

After you "attach" the picture in that little window that pops up, you will see a link appear... click on that and use that!

So... upload the image, click the link, copy the url and put THAT url in-between the image tags...

No worries man. Hope to see some more. I don't really care about the horses but would love more surf stoke.

Yeah, winter Surf in Maui. I live a mile up valley from "jaws" -Peahi bay, and when there is no trades at night you can here rocks the size of cars rolling around and the surf on the cliffs. The wind went Kona so at sunrise I'll probably hear choppers shooting the big time tow-surfing crowd. I'll mbt down through the pineapple fields with the camera and see what's up. You can see a ski in the background of that shot above.

What I should go shoot is the guys trying to get their skis onto trailers at the boat ramp, you have to time the swell and back the trailer down, shoot onto to the trailer and loop your bow rope over the trailer post while your bro pulls the truck up. Get it wrong and the ski ends up in the back of the truck along with some h20...

Seen the Walsh's and friends deal with this at Jaws. It's just as funny trying to see them get their skis into the water from the beach.

Those are the boys trying to "tow-ski" winter surf?

One was going to come to a re:sessions show at my place but left town too soon. Real deal skiers though, yeh?

If you upload the picture to the site it stays as an a thbmnail. If you want to not have the thumbbail, you have to upload the image to an external image hosting site and link the url from them.

It was funny snowboarding with Ian, Luke, Dorian and the boys at Jackson. They get better every year. The look on their faces going down the hobacks on a crazy powder day was priceless. It's funny how they can tow into monster walls of water and get so gripped when it comes to snowboarding. I guess it would be the same with me except you would never see me getting in any waves over head high. I'm not good at surfing.

It's like anything, you do it enough you get comfortable with the speed, the size, the drop, whatever. The shit we do on horses playing polo at full go-to-the-whip gallop or jumping waves on a sailboard or jet ski seems impossible to some and tame to others.

The stoke we get from adrenalin sports keeps us young, strong, happy and motivated!

Oh, head high is plenty big. You drop in to that and feel the soul of surfing for sure!
