    RIP Superman

    Ken Camaniti died @ 41 of heart failure/attack. 1997 NL MVP, retired then admitted to steroid use during his MLB career.

    that could be your third.

    Sad to hear. Truly an inspiration, and such a fighter. Sad for his family - his wife was also amazing and did such great work after his accident.

    It's surprising to me in some ways that his death started with a bedsore. From what I remember, he had several nurses at his bedside around the clock. Patients like Christopher MUST be repositioned at least every 2 hours to prevent sores from developing.

    But ... the fact that it got so bad and made him go into cardiac arrest makes me really sad. Makes me think there was some kind of lapse in his nursing care.
