actually, the best bootfitter in CO is unquestionably Larry. Larry has worked at Boulder Ski Deals for the past 15 years, and regularly works on the US ski team's boots. He's also a great guy, and will hook you up if he can. Larry just struck out on his own from Boulder Ski Deals, and just opened up his own operation. I don't have the email address handy, but it's something like Where's Larry? He may have a site up. As soon as I get home on Friday, I'll post up contact info for him. He's worth finding.

I can also vouch for Larry, not that he needs it. He has done up both pairs of boots I have owned in CO and they fit absolutely prefectly.Originally Posted by Yossarian
Besides from being a sweet bootfitter, he is from MT and definitely a cool guy. He has operations opening up in Stowe, Squaw Valley and I think Steamboat and another location as well.
I was amazed at how light and fluffy the powdery snow was and at how the challenge never ended.

Yoss,
Bump for the latest 411 on Larry's operation. Location or contact info?
Where's Larry??
Sorry, I get home on Friday. I'll put it up asap. He's worth the wait, I promise.

He recently started his own after working at Ski Deals for 10-15 years or so. It's on 28th in Boulder somewhere. Write him and let us know the details!

Bump for Larry. A quality guy who does quality work and will give you a quality deal. Hooked me and the missus up the other day, all during a showing of Dr. Strangeglove.
The contact info Yoss put up is still current. Look him up.

Lee @ the custom foot did a footbed and some work on my boots last year. It is located inside the Mountain Miser as mentioned earlier in the thread.

The Mountain Miser is primarily an outerwear and telemark/AT store and they don't sell alpine boots. Lee does great work on boots you already own but if you're looking to buy new alpine boots, and have help from a bootfitter in selecting the right pair then seek elsewhere (and let me know because I am in the market for a new pair). I'll give larry a shout if he sells new boots.
dude my kryptons would so beat up your flexons. The buckles are green, brah, GREEN.Originally Posted by robokill1981

Bump...
anyone know a good way to get ahold of this mystical bootfitting figure, Larry?
I sent an email to the above address, hopefully that works. The voicemail on the phone number has been full for a few weeks. Should I just go to the shop? Is he there in the evenings or would this be a weekend thing?
I just need some boots that give my feet the love they deserve.
Gracias...
Someone recently said he isn't open yet for the season and will first be open only on weekends. Hopefully that person (Marshall?) will pipe up again.
another good one, is jeff bergeron in breck
