Lightbulb English Speaking Instructors Needed in...

A family friend has been in St. Anton for a while. Aparently they are in desperate need of english speaking ski instructors for a two week period this winter. I got this third hand from my mother so I'm lacking details. He is however sending me an information package which I should get in a week or so.

The main ski school in St. Anton is the Ski School Arlberg. I assume this is who is looking for the help. I don't know if anyone is interested, but it may have some interesting perks. I'm going on line to see if I can find anything out on the web. If anyone shows interest I'll post any info I get from my friend.

I don't know, may be fun or interesting for a Maggot.

Sonja, Hmmm... tight blonde Austrian hotty, likes to where leather pants and feather boas.....

    Never met her.

Last I knew, she was working at Bobo's.

I'll let you know if I learn anything else about Sonja, I mean the ski instructor position. Yes, they are the guys with the blue and yellow jackets.

I was there for the FIS World Championships in 2001 and the one I was thinking of was working at Bobo's then too. Who knows, she might have been double teaming. The Sonja I am talking about was striking. She had long dirty blonde hair. She has also been in TV adds on the local station for the hair dresser. I bet we are talking about the same girl.

    A Little More Info

Found out a little more about this opening this weekend. This may not be as good a fit for Maggots as originally hoped.

The ski school is having a mandatory 3 to 4 days of training in St. Anton in the beginning of December to evaluate the candidates. After the training is over. The successful people go on a stand-by list. This list gets used anytime over the season when the ski school is short on teachers. So any candidate really needs to be living in the Arlberg region for the winter. There is also a rumor of needing to pay for the initial instruction, but I could be wrong about that one.

This family friend who mentioned it to me will be living there for the winter so he is going to do it mostly for the experience, but he even says that it would be unlikely if they used him or not. He has already covered his cost to ski for the winter and didn't mention what the perks were for lift tickets and the like.

Again, if anyone still has interest I can dig a little deeper.
