FS: Three 1TB External Hard Drives

All Western Digital. Perfect shape. I know I have the original box for the two studio editions. I'll have to check on the Mirror edition. This is a great external library/backup system if you purchase all three. One external library, one on-site backup and one off-site backup.

2 of em' are these: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...ok_Studio.html

1 of them is this: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...ok_Mirror.html

    Asking $95 each plus shipping.

I hate to price police, but I'm in the market for one. 1 TB externals go for 90-100 new. Is there something I'm missing about these models?

I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

You're missing the fact that a) these are Western Digital drives--some brands are more trusted/expensive than others and b)most all of the drives I saw on the first page to your link are USB 2.0, which is a far cry from teh Firewire 800 these drives operate on.

One of the Studio editions is already sold.

Gotcha, the firewire 800 was the part that I missed. WD, Seagate and Samsung all have <$100 usb 2.0 drives, but not firewire. Carry on, I don't need the speed.

Correct... USB2.0 is 'technically' faster max data rate than FW400, but it isn't a sustainable transfer. FW400 can hit 400 and stay there. USB2.0 can hit 480 but it bounces...

Which is why you need 1Gig ethernet drives.
