So I got new skis, and new bindings, now its time for new boots. What do you all think about the "technica icon dp hotform"? Ive heard that the "hotform" is a bunch of bullshit. I did try them on the other day and they didn’t seem to be quite as stiff as i would have liked. But i would like to hear input form any of you out there who have used them before. Also what you think a fair price would be for the boots.

Just to confirm the hotfrom BS I can tell you that not one of the 9 pairs of hotform boots at my work two season ago (the first year they where out) still heated up when plugged in after february. They did receive heavier than "normal" usage though. I beleive that the DP is the softest of the Icon Series. I would bet that you can find a DP/XR or even some XT's or ALU's for not much more on closeout.
